Ben Meadows
President
D. B. "Ben" Meadows left the Air Force,
as a Major, in 1946 and moved to New York
City to sell oil field equipment to major
oil companies. In July of 1949 he moved
to Harlingen, Texas where he joined his
father working for Jefferson-Pilot Life
Insurance Company. In 1950 Jefferson-Pilot
transferred Ben to Corpus Christi as a
District Manager, where he was later appointed
Branch Manager. He retired as the Manager
in 1980, became an agent with the company
and has been going strong ever since.
In addition to Jefferson-Pilot Financial
and First Colony Life Insurance Company,
Ben is an agent for Blue Cross Blue Shield
of Texas, which provides group and individual
health coverage and has been appointed
to sell their Medicare Supplement Policy.

Van Villa
Agent
Van earned a M.A.in French from Catholic
University of America, Washington, DC
and worked for several years as a Senior
Accountant before joining Meadows Insurance
Agency in 2003. Her expertise is in the
Senior Markets such as Medicare Supplement,
Medicare Advantage, and Prescription Drug
Part D. |

Quenten Cook
Agent
Quenten entered the life insurance business in January 1961 with Great Southern Life Insurance Co. During the next 10 years he completed all of the required study to become a Fellow of the Life Insurance Training Council.
He then joined the Jefferson Standard Life Insurance company in 1972 and completed additional educational requirements to earn the designation of Chartered Life Underwriter through the American College in Brynmar, PA.
When Jefferson Standard merged with Pilot Life and changed the name to Jefferson Pilot Life Insurance Company in the 1980's Quenten completed the education requirements to earn the designation of Chartered Financial consultant through the American College.
Quenten became a manager with Jefferson Pilot, recruiting and training young agents many of whom are still active in the Life insurance business.
Quenten retired from Jefferson Pilot and went cruising on his sailboat with his wife Carla in 1998. They visited Bermuda, the Azores, Ireland, England, Spain and several countries around the Mediterranean. On the way back to the U.S. they stopped at Madera, the Canaries, Cape Verdes, Barbados, Martinique, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
